4:47 in the late afternoon. Less than an hour until winter officially arrives here! Oh, look, it's 55° - that along with the mildewing rain doesn't particularly scream, 'it's winter'.
Tired and oddly happy. Yeah, the one where that extreme smile gets stuck so long it starts to hurt.


Had a nice liverwurst sandwich with potato chips crushed in between the layers of wurst.


Need me some more coffee...

6:13 CST. Just finished an early dinner, and hoping to get to bed by 9 or 10 since I have to get up 3am to get on the road by 4am.

I’ll probably lie awake until 2am. Cool

Just had drinking with neighbours.

Viola and Sebastian were hunting down and eating insects on the road, so they are happy.

I have numerous mosquito bites.

Almost time for bed.

Waiting for my bread to finish up - another 10 min of baking time left.
I have no idea why the dog is guarding the kitchen like a hawk. No one's given her the xmas menu yet.

In my place, I think it's a training exercise. She's new; I'm a bit resistant in my ways, ergo, I need training, and quickly!

It's 5:16pm, PST. I'm thinking about our next trip to Hawaii including Maui (my father was born there) and Honolulu (Have a nephew and cousin). I think we're going in March or April.

recovering from a day with an almost 3 month old, his almost (2 weeks to go) 5 year old and their mom. The part of the day in the sequin tunnel has left me ready to fall over. Squealing by many many many very short people is exhausting.
