@msolga,
Its 9.07 PM Sat in Pa (EDT), and in Melbourne its 11:07 AM Sunday.
Weve just finished a late dessert of a flan like custard(we have a shitload of eggs from our happy hens). Mrs F made a lfan and then Jammed sugarless raspberry preserves down the center. It was outrageously good (even without whup cream)

Sittin here staring at the screen and kickin back with a cup of red bush/peppermint tea.

8:13 PM. Jebus; the new neighbors, on the other side of the community well, seemed so nice and - quiet. Suddenly I am about blasted out of my chair by their music.

Hi Ms Olga, it's 8:21 p.m. Saturday in Georgetown, Texas. We just got back from a stint in the dog park with Odie and Bandit (min. doxie and rat terrier). Beautiful evening, getting warmer, 97 today. Spent the day replacing plants that died over the winter from last year's drought. Moved a climbing rose to yet a 3rd place.

9:04 p.m. in Tulsa, OK...a clear, warm evening...still 80something degrees.

We're starting to get decent tomatoes now, so I made a caprese salad tonight, one of our favorites. Fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, a little red onion, drizzled with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Fresh bread, and it doesn't get any better than that.

12:15 In the high country of Australia. Mumpad bought home some refugees from the charity event last night and we stayed up real late/early chatting and laughing and swapping gossip.
I ate leftover charity food for breakfast. gluten free vegetable fritata and tondoori chicen chunks with tzatsiki
Lovely sunny winterish day.

12:36 pm, Melbourne, Oz ...

Dishes washed. First load of washing on the line. Second lot on the go. Swiffered the (polished wood) passage & study. Ate breakfast. Two phone calls (niece & C). Read the news online. Stripped the bed. Played with the cat ... so much more I should do (a woman's work is never done!) , but no ... gonna get my runners on & go walk. Very fast! And have lunch out.

Got at agree with dp. Exquisite sunny day out there! Very Happy

I'm back. After a good brisk walk & a convivial light lunch.
Now the Sunday afternoon/evening countdown to work tomorrow begins. Not my favourite time of the week. Neutral

Interesting, Deb & Dutchy, I always though you were in the same time zone as me (& margo in Sydney) ... EST.
Then I noticed that both your (Adelaide) post times were a little behind Melbourne time, so I checked the world map ... & sure enough, you're in a (slightly) different zone!

Well, I'll be! Surprised
There you go, I learned something new today!

@msolga,
It's 9:52 a.m. on Sunday, May 23 in the West Country of England (Somerset). Another beautiful, warm day - hurray!
I've been talking about child pornography and rape and now I'm going to clear my head by bringing my laundry in off the line, folding it and putting it away.
Then I'm going to wash my car and vacuum out the inside.
Then I'm going to help my friend serve Sunday Roast while I watch the bitterns and herons that populate the nature preserve by her tearoom.
She'll give me a piece of her delicious nutroast for my trouble.
Then if I hear from my friend, I'll meet him in Yeovil for a pint or two at an outside table so he can smoke and I can sit in the sun.
If not, I'll come home and walk the dog and take a nap.

My goal today is to soak up as much sun as I can-you never know when it'll be gone again.

Because I'm a sticky nose.

... and also because I'm continually challenged by the different time zones in the northern hemisphere. I keep saying "good night" when I should be asking you what you're having for lunch!

Please feel free to drop in here often with updates on your daily doings! Very Happy
