@msolga,
Fifteen minutes after noon, beautiful day here..
(No recreational substances though)...
Daytime . . . and here i am back in front of this stupid computer . . . i should take the little doggies for a walk . . .
10:30 pm, Melbourne time:
All scrubbed up & squeaky clean. Showered, hair washed & dried. Not long before bed time. A busy working week coming up.
@msolga,
10.30pm Beyond the Black Stump, time to douse the fire and go to bed. Good night msolga.
8:12 AM. Just finished breakfast. Punky was duly given her biscuit. That's not so bad as you might think. She doesn't eat them. She wanders all around, in and out the house and finally buries them. contemplating framing some walls in the addition I work sporadically on. Can't afford to finish it all at one time.
7:51 a.m. Sun, had to change 4 Halogen lights in the kitchen this morning, seems like I have to do this every 7 years or so. I thought they were supposed to last a long time. Later this morning I will put a new pump in the garden fountain, Lady Diane likes the bubbling noise and I still have flowers to plant. If it weren't for sloth I'd have no redeeming features whatsoever. Who is Lindsay Lohan?
Right now, it is 10:28 AM and I am still in still in my jammies, drinking my morning coffee and looking at the emails I did not read last night.
It's 10:41 am on Sunday. I just got back from having breakfast at a nearby restaurant - a greek-centric diner. The restaurant is owned by one of my student's family. I had an omelet with avocado, jack cheese and salsa. And a coffee.
Now I am digesting while A2King and making another cuppa. Their coffee, while good for diner brew, wasn't quite enough. I did math homework at the table and realized that the math teacher taught this lesson badly - I might even say wrong.
Later I will be gardening. need to add two boxwoods to the foundation plants, stabilize a new lattice and plant two clematis to go up it, plant iris in front of the vines, prune the leucothoe and the viburnum, move around the monarda and echinaceas, move one plant out of the pot and two plants into pots....... I may be forgetting something.
Then, of course, tonight is reserved for the final episode of LOST!
8:00 am PST , and it's windy, cloudy and cold in paradise
We've booked sunshine here in California, I want a refund!!
We're having breakfast in a few minutes...
11:47 AM Sunday, absolutely gorgeous day today! It's been rainy and cool and yucky for a very long time, it's now sunny and warm. Was just out on the back porch for a while, first reading the Sunday paper, then hanging out with sozlet, who did dramatic re-enactments of the bird cacaphony for me. (Crows, cardinals, chickadees, etc.) Then she rescued a moth that was stuck in the porch.
Need to start getting ready for the rest of the day -- cleaning, soccer, then yard work hopefully.
Bah, Humbug! A pox on everyone. I went to my shop at 8:00 am to pick up Saturday's mail and the receipts from yesterday. I headed home but only got a few blocks before my right rear tire blew out. I left it in a tire place a 100 yards away. But they are not open on Sunday. Too early to call anyone. $15 cab ride.
68 degrees at 12:30 pm. Sunny now but clouds to the west. I hope UVA can get their graduation ceremonies in before the expected thunderstorms.
@realjohnboy,
almost 11:30 am.
groggy. sore.
rjb, I fix tires on Sunday.
I'll leave the light on...
@Rockhead,
12:25pm
dismantled, cleaned and put back together vacuum cleaner.
vacuuming followed.
@msolga,
2PM SUNDAY May 23 EDT-(4AM Melbourne Time) . Its been a crappy cloudy drizzly day. Ive worked in the garden planting some more veggies and getting a few rows plowed up for later crops of pumpkins and carrots and turnips and sunflowers.
crappy day, really crappy. Even when theres a brief period of sunlight it makes the entire landscape look like its illuminated by a bunch of flourescent lites.
11:06 am here in southern California
The sun came out for a bit, it's still cloudy, cold and very windy. There is a storm up north and heading our way. We'll have some rain to wash down the earthquakes.
Went exercising with my neighbor, gossip lightens up the treadmill run
I'll rest a bit now before having lunch and heading out shopping with the
teenager - gawd give me strength!!!
