7.25am, Monday 19th July - Kiama - south of Sydney.

I was down here for the weekend and it was so lovely I sent a text message to my boss asking if I could take a couple of hours off this morning, rather than head back in the end of school holidays Sunday afternoon rush. (flying a bit close to the wind - it's my appraisal this afternoon!)

Still lovely this morning, but some cloud closing in. I suspect the rainy weather from the south is heading our way - again. About to shower and go out for my walk (with camera) - then back here, clean up and be on the road by 9am.

Work uggghhhh!!

trying to decide whether to hang out more laundry - will it rain, or won't it - it's been promising/threatening for days

getting ready to feed the dogs their lamb/carrot broth and kibble

listening to Roseanne Cash - Rules of Travel c.d. - September when it comes is playing right now - always makes me a bit teary to hear Johnny Cash in there

@djjd62,
ha! I was considering running Percy through the carwash while I was on my Cdn Tire, Mark's WWH rounds earlier

decided that a double load of white clothes on the line was enough of a temptation to the rain gods

I have the shorter version of the samurai umbrella in the middle.

I hope my umbrella allows me to coexist with itself for a long time before it feels I'm trying to own it out right then disappears.

Just taking this opportunity to say a very swift good morning to you all.
It's almost light here & another working coming up.
Could I borrow one of your umbrellas, tsar? Rain expected here again today.
Looking forward to tomorrow & my day off for the week.
Gotta run now ... time is on the move!

Lovely to have a day off. I need it! Very Happy
Even though it's cold & wretched & miserable & crappy outside & all ... I'm feeling very pleased to be on the loose today.
Just had 2 gentlemen knock on my front door to inform me of a prayer meeting soon to be held in my neighbourhood.
I thanked them politely & said I really wasn't interested in a prayer meeting.
They politely wished me a good day.
I thanked them for their good wishes & off they went.
About to go offline & hit the local shops. What excitement! Very Happy

@msolga,
Tell us how you really feel, MsO!

I am trying to enjoy my Saturday despite the fact that I have 4-5 strange men in my apartment doing a variety of work including painting, floor repair, and other general maintenance.

I really, really feel mightily relived & ecstatic to be off the hook for a couple of says, k! (Feeling tired.)

Lucky you, having all those workmen at once, on your weekend! Rolling Eyes

I think I might be gearing up for a Sunday morning walk. The sky is clear, no sign of rain for a bit at least, & a long galloping walk seems an excellent idea!

@msolga,
eastern lake ontario - 7:17 pm - but here it's saturday 24 ( but it is july - just like in ozland )
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
it's about 26 C - low 80's F

but the humidity level is 80 % plus - everything feels damp and clammy - and it'll stay like this for another week at least

hoping for some nighttime cooling

went and got my hair cut and coloured this morning. Maddy straightened it beautifully. then I went outside. after being rained on and humidified for hours, my hair is back to its normal poofity lumpy beauty Confused Laughing Confused
