what would "From the Past, truth" or "from history, truth" translate as? I have it as Ex Temporus Veritas but I'm not sure if thats right

@ryzabove,
I'd translate that:

Ex praeteritis, veritas
Ex -> from
praeteritis -> past (literally, past things)
veritas -> truth

For "From history, truth", substitute historia for praeteritis.
