Blood Stains

Recently my dog chewed a pen and the black ink was all over the carpet. Windex took it out and you can't see any ink at all. My carpet is tan and it didn't fade it out. I did not use windex on my dog though

All three blood stains gone.

Windex plus soaking in hot soapy water plus cold rinse. No rubbing, no scrubbing.

Stains totally gone.

I sorta cringed at the hot water, but the windex must have worked first.

I suspect JPB's answer was correct too - she is also an expert.

I tried my plan first on the thing I didn't mind losing. It worked like a charm. The Windex was suggested here. The hot soapy water I made up.

The jeans came clean beautifully. The first two things were cotton. Not sure sure about the last thing--synthetic. Did the same thing. Got the same result.

(I think it was the Windex that did the trick. Just guessing.)
