The easiest way I've found is to rinse the shower walls after your shower and then dry them with your towel.
Hmmmm - will Wilso's CLR clean the tiles on my balcony? They are stained with pot-plant runoff - not the white stuff, but dirty with soil - and it won't seem to scrub off.
well if you smoke enough of the pot, you wont be concerned about the streaks
Thankee! I believe I actually have some.....
BTW, I don't see how water hardness can be the problem when I don't get any mineral buildup in the basin, sink, laundrey tub or the dishwasher. There just seems to be something that makes soap cling to these tiles.
I detect a lot of scum in the shower!!!! How repulsive !!!!
I say use your wits to hire a maid...if you can't afford one Wilso then I guess your SOL
And you said you weren't going to post again!

Such a helpful contribution!
She's expecting me to burn in the lake of fire Margo, so I doubt that she meant to be helpful.
Hey - can you guys get Mr. Clean Magic Erasers in Australia?
Back to a question I asked yonks ago about the tiles. Wilso, are the tiles very smooth and shiny? If not, you may need to consider refinishing the tiles with a protectant. It sounded like they were getting porous with age.
I regrouted the tiles the week I moved in. But maybe there's something else I can do. As I said earlier, none of the other outlets shows signs of water hardness, but in the shower the soap sticks to the tiles like sh!t to a blanket.
They're smooth and shiny.
Wilso- I have this little nylon, mildly abrasive pad that has a handle. It is very good for getting off soap scum in the shower, especially when the shower is on, and the walls are wet.
well, there's always ...

I'm still wondering about the tile surface itself. Maybe the above site will have some good clues.
It just says to use a strong chemical to clean them, which I've been able to do effectively. The problem is that it's back again in 2 days.
Are you rinsing down the shower walls and drying them completely after each use?
It's an annoying problem, isn't it.
No problem on the walls. It's only on the floor.
ok - so are the floors rinsed off and dried after each use?
if they are, you may need to get someone to help you check for moisture sources - tiny leaks in the pipes etc.
