WOW! I never heard of this place. It's too bad it came so late from my days of travel. I would definitely have included this place on my itinerary. After all seven continents, 132 countries in all, flying to Mt Everest, dipping my feet in the Dead Sea, visiting Esparanza Base in Antarctica, and visiting both the northernmost and southernmost cities of the world, I thought were all there was to see. Thank you very much for sharing these pictures. I'm really grateful that you shared them on a2k, because I visit here often. The closest I ever got to what we may call "strange looking trees" are the acacia trees in Africa and the banyan trees in Hawaii.
