@tsarstepan,
I will make it my mission to make it happen, tsar!
(And I'll forgive you for calling me "MsOgla"! I know you didn't mean to! Laughing Wink )

But I know what you mean about that photograph. I found it quite mesmerizing. The atmosphere, the stillness of moment, the lighting, the magnificent landscape & capturing those kangaroos so quietly enjoying their breakfast feed. It's easy to imagine what so much of SE Australia was like before the arrival of white settlers. What an awe inspiring place it must have been!

Blue poppies (Papaveraceae) in the Valley of Flowers national park high in the Himalayas in the Chamoli district, India. The remote valley is famous for its meadows of alpine flowers and stretches over an area of 87.5 square kilometres. With more than 300 varieties of flowers, it was declared a national park in 1982 and a Unesco world heritage site in 1988.

It took me a minute to figure out the view is looking south-east. Good pix.

@cicerone imposter,
I took this photograph some years ago on a cruise from Budapest to the Black Sea. I took an album full of pictures to meet up with a childhood friend that my sister met with last year for lunch yesterday in Stockton. He chose this picture to keep.

@vonny,
Thank you for the picture.
I have been to Serengeti - it was a very special trip. I took along
"Out of Africa " to read. Beside guide books I like to take fitting litterature on trips.
