@vonny,
Did you know the human eye can see more shades of green than any other color?

@saab,
These pictures were taken by Kevin Keane on our visit to Victoria Falls in 2002 from a powered kite. He was good enough to share them with me when we returned from the trip.

@cicerone imposter,
Sorry to say - I would not have guessed it was the Victoria Falls.
I remeber them as much more impressive and with more lush green areas around.
Nature do change now with the climate change.

@cicerone imposter,
I am sorry - I got all mixed with another fall in Africa, which was very impressive too and as I said lush green. Cannot remember the name. It is long ago since I was in Africa.

@saab,
Do you notice the bridge over the falls in the second picture? Some of us walked across it into Zambia to get our passports stamped, and to view the falls from the Zambia side. It was really spraying water, and we got drenched, but it was worth the experience! You know that the nickname for Victoria Falls is "smoke that thunders." Aptly named.

@cicerone imposter,
I can imagen it was worth it, both for the stamp in the passport and the view.
Brave people.

I always want to put Victoria Falls at Victoria Lake.
