@panzade,
Very Happy ((Panz))x

HH - They showed it briefly on the BBC News 24 yesterday... I'm in awe of a storm - there's a whole lot of captures on google if you put in "sydney storm" - man, I'd love to tog a storm like that.

(tried to put the google link in but I failed mizerably)

I think the best storm I ever saw was in Kansas - that was too cool.

@Izzie,
Glad to know that's all real...

On the Sandia storm, photo taken from near the top, I think, of the petroglyphs - I live across the street from the those petroglyphs.

This is nothing spectacular at all. Every time I see a plant breaking the asphalt I find it is a wonder, which - luckely - not even the largest truck can do.

@panzade,
So much is there..

http://www.nps.gov/petr/index.htm

I've walked some parts of the trails a couple of times, but I'm iffy on my feet re balance now - fine walking down the street but not so good with rocks all over the place - so even though the area is nearby, park entrance a few blocks away, I don't go hiking around in the large (to me) national park.

A good map here -

or this one -

I notice there are much bigger houses in the area below that picture than in my measly neighborhood. But you get the idea.
