The forecasters are optimistic that the storms might be over - for the time being, anyway. The floods will take a lot longer to clear - some places will continue to be flooded for months to come because of ground water bubbling out of the sodden earth!
panzade, I'm embarrassed to tell you how long it took me to find that leopard even though I knew it was somewhere. Seems like spots work out well in the camouflage department.
After all the wonderful pictures here with storm, waves, strong colours I was longing for stillness. Do you react like that too sometimes? The stillness in which you can hear and feel nature.
