I have been a huge Derrick Jackson (columnist for the Boston Globe) fan for years. While his topic here is the success that the French have had in battling obesity, there is a note on the svelteness of Mass residents.

												We lived in MA for 8 years and I'd agree with that. I don't think, somehow, that Texas ranks too high in slender people. I'm miserable even being 6, 7 pounds over my ideal fit-in-my-clothes weight, so keep those pounds off.
