@tsarstepan,
So do we really need a two hour warm-up? That's worse than the Super Bowl. I don't recall a two hour warm-up for the MASH finale and MASH was much bigger than LOST.

@engineer,
It was an enjoyable finale.

The crowd (and the place was quite packed) were a tad bit more animated when the characters first appeared throughout the episode and at key plot points (expected and unexpected).

Heck I'm pleased at the partial correctness of my Vincent prediction! Wink

Let tomorrow, our first PostLost Monday and our first PostLost week be a productive and enlightening one at that. Heck! Who knows? Maybe we're all dead and we're going through some kind of Purgatory like test of courage and fidelity to our friends and family as well.

I bid everyone at a2k a pleasant good night!

Well, that sucked.

It was a fun show, but they defeat the evil smoke genie by sticking a stone cork in a magic hole?

Right-o, then.

I was pleased. I wanted more Hurley/Ben on-island epilogue footage, but my brain can fill in the gaps.

Now entering post LOST Depression... It's like when I got done reading Harry Potter. I was sad it was over...

@DrewDad,
True DD, you have a point. I admit the cork in the ground fix to bring back the light was a bit stupid.

@djjd62,
Speaking of Ben and Hurley...Michael Emerson has revealed that there's an 'epilogue'... a lost scene, if you will that deals with the time between Hurley becoming the island's protector and the end of the series. He said it's around 12 or 14 minutes long.

It's part of the Bonus Features, but only if you purchase the complete Lost series on Blu Ray.

We'll also find out what happened to Walt.

DVD release date is 8/24/10.

Maybe someone will put it up on youtube and we can save $200 Smile

(Or djjd62 could buy it and tell us all about it here...woot!)

@failures art,
I'm there with you (and w/ HP).

I just got done watching the show as it was Tivo'd because I was on vacation the last 2 weeks.

WTF...I'm pretty damn confused, but it was a good episode...the last scene w/ Jack was great.

It's not a real product, but as an homage to LOST, ThinkGeek lists an alarm clock that wakes you up every 108 minutes and only shuts up if you punch in the numbers from Hurley's lottery ticket.
