someone suggested a sideways timeline, locke and linus spinoff, the two teachers get recruited by the CIA and hilarity ensues as they bumble their way through missions
i won't see the finale until i get a download of it, probably on monday, i may have to go live in a cave, i usually don't mind spoilers or even knowing what's going to happen in movies or shows before i see them (for instance i knew the swerve in the 6th sense and still enjoyed the film), but for this i want it to be a surprise
Ordinarily (as I often boast about it here at a2k) I would wait for the episode to appear on hulu.com but not this time! I hope to have a drink, a cheap meal, and to see the show live for the first time ever.
I think I found the perfect place to watch the finale:

Lost in Astoria viewing party
Beer garden Studio Square has a regular Lost viewing night organized by the Queens blog/forum/pep squad Why Leave Astoria?!, so expect a rapt audience watching the final episode on one of the five mounted 42-inch or single 60-inch HD TVs with surround sound. Make sure the $5 glasses of sangria, $12 Blue Moon pitchers and $5 Lost on the Beach cocktails don’t make you rowdy, or you’ll be more unpopular than the Others. Studio Square, 35-33 36th St between 35th and 36th Aves, Long Island City, Queens (718-383-1001, studiosquarenyc.com). 6pm; free
i basically live my day to day life like that, after Lost, my next major goals are the two Harry Potter films and some selected book series, that should take me into 2012 if i'm lucky, after that, who knows
there are 7 books in the series, and in the end there will be 8 movies (they're splitting the last book into two movies (something they should have done for the sixth book as well)
as for twilight, not interested in that series

If God exists and she doesn't let this person live long enough to see the Lost finale? She would be the biggest bastard in the bloody universe!! Then again, this coming from a non-proselytizing atheist.

Confession: I've not seen one Harry Potter film (nor any of the Twilight movies, either).
After reading your post, though, I may start collecting at least the Potter ones. Aren't there like 10 or so now?
I think their are 75 Harry Potter films right now ... but I could be wrong.
LOL...then I'm gonna live forever! (Me and Richard lol)

Need a crash course on Lost before [today's] finale? Steve Murray's interactive graphic - "Loved & Lost" - offers a Cliff Notes biography of almost every character. Fact: more than 75% of the entire cast is now dead! [National Post]
