yesterday lady diane and I joined the albaturkey senior citizens center. we get a complete full breakfast for $1, lunch is $2. All paid for by the tax payers of new mexico. they have a billiards room, excercise room/equipment, community field trips etc etc etc. Now the thing is many of the members speak mexican. these are people that have only been here for 300/400 years so what the ****, why are they allowed when they don't even speak american? everyone knows those mexicans don't pay taxes so why are they allowed to have a good healthy breakfast and exercise? next thing you know they will demand health care. It costs $13 to join for one year.
I believe they should be made to recite Thomas Paine's essays in English before being allowed even a cup of coffee.
@dyslexia,
Better billards for Mexicans than bombs for Muslim civilians. Just one tax payer's opinion.

Then I'd say it's about time they were allowed to join a senior citizen's center!
@dyslexia,
Yep! How dare they partake in the lobster and steak lunches provided by the wealthy coffers of New Mexico.
and
All this for $2!
@tsarstepan,
well,it's actually chorizo/bacon and eggs/toast coffee juice but what the hell.
@dyslexia,
if they got tamales, ya better stay for lunch, gringo...
@Rockhead,
Would $2 burritos be a really good bargain or a health risk?
@tsarstepan,
burritos are likely not on the menu.
just guessin' of course.
do they like your hat, pops?
I love Mexican food! What's the minimum age requirement there, dys?
By the way: out here, seniors go to IKEA for breakfast - $ 2.50 for a huge
breakfast!
<sigh>
Guess I'll have to move back to the mainland to eat well. Always liked NM.
@Merry Andrew,
Having to eat too much spam and pineapple,
MA?
Here in NC if you try to join a place like that a gang of rednecks wrap you in red white and blue and kicks the **** out of you

I like that part, plus the fact that there's fellowship in sharing meals. My organization (MealsOnWheels) doesn't charge anything and there's no annual fee, but we deliver to individual homes.
@DrewDad,
Hell, yeah! At between 300 and 400 years of age, they've earned some pleasure.

They sound like a bunch of free loaders to me!
Probably ungrateful for breakfast & the exercise, too!
Just saying good morning to you, dys.
Hey this sounds like a good deal!

I can't believe how well the natives of New Mexico are treating illegal aliens like you Anglos.
Hey if it keeps you old geezers off the highways for a few hours each day...I'm all for it....I'll hang back and make sure nobody gets near your lawn.

@dyslexia,
So, that means I can go too?
