Obama was elected as the President of the USA in 2008. It is already 2010 and still we r sending troops over seas and r still in a defecit! Is Obama really the president everyone expected him to b???

First of all, the problem with the economy is too big to be fixed so easily. What strikes me is all these people saying they do not want government control fail to realize is that the lack of government control meant that big business made a mess of the sandbox in which it played, throwing out the sand and breaking the toys. Then, big business went crying to the government, saying, "Mommy! Help me fix my broken toys and lost sand!"

Second, what almost prevented me from voting for Obama was his insistence throughout the campaign that he would send troops to Afghanistan. I have a pattern for an Afghani nomad dress and I feel I should sew it and wear it daily.

You're fudging the numbers a bit there. He was elected in November, 2008. He didn't take office until January, 2009.

By the way, did you have the same stopwatch going during the time that George Bush was eliminating the surplus and growing the deficit during his term?

If not, why did you give him a pass?

Of course he is the president I expected he would be. Below Iv'e quoted myself from 2008 before the people voted him in.

Note the links at the end. Obama was hired not elected. All the information I have linked was they for the people of A2k but they never took any notice of it and here they are again....and again, and again.
