@Letty,
Twas the truth of her eyes ever beaming that made me love Mary, Rose of Tralee.

Ah, a song that sets my Irish heart to weeping.

Thank you sweet Letty.

@Butrflynet,
I was about 10 miles up the hill at roughly 2,000 feet. I went to the Tsunami Museum in Hilo last year and saw some b&w film footage and photographs of past Tsunamis which were gut wrenching. The lady that runs the Museum is a Tsunami survivor.

@ossobuco,
I have just recently started making jewlery. I figure it is a recession proof business. This past Saturday I learned to make a fancy (and complicated) crystal bracelet. At the end of the month a beading lady from Oahu is comming and six of us will learn to make a stained glass bracelet with crystals.

I was thinking of calling my business "String Along With Me" ,"On Your Toes" for toe rings, "Ankle Bangles".

I am getting a drimel to drill holes in seaglass to make seaglass items. I couldn't get that site up for all the tea in China . It really looks interesting.

@jespah,
It was a mixed day. I'm waiting for a surgery date and we are in the middle of moving which I hope to get done before I go in.

It's never too late to say happy birthday. Thank you Boston Girl.

Just got back on line after a hiatus of several days or I would'a said something earlier. 'Puter down is a bummer.

About that non-tsunami -- up here at 4,000 feet above sea level I wouldn't have known that the island was in any danger if it hadn't been for folks from the mainland telephoning to ask, "Are you OK? We saw it on the TV. Are they evacuating the whole island?" Didn't know what those folks were talking about.

Sglass, I'm so glad you don't act your age! Smile
