given a choice, I would let that part of my abilities lapse, if I could get back some strength or stamina in the rest of my game.

bought some insulation, plywood, and another oil filled electric heater.

gonna try and eliminate having to get up in the middle of the night to stoke the fire...

just noticed Squinney asking Eva if she'd noticed the earthquake - first I'd heard about it - time change has me befuddled more than usual

earth quakes, time shifts, dolphins winning...

keeping an eye out for the locusts.

either that or I find a way to get a full week vacation in this year

I know homeless folks aren't s'posed to have to work, but...

I would really like to be able to stop and relax for a coupla days sometime next year myself.

the Nissan truck I put a motor is has been sitting out front waiting for me to look at it for a while. finally decided to open it up and see why it quit running.

It was never a question this time of my doing something wrong, but it took him a while to decide to call me to look at it.

He was rather an ass last time, and had trouble backing up when he turned out dead wrong.

anyways, the spark plugs that I was officially on record as having no particular affinity towards, (he bought the parts, I am kinda very much more particular than he was) have come in contact with the pistons. (this is not a good thing)

he has sheepishly agreed to bring me a set of the ones I wanted the first time...

now Ima go cut a hole in the shop roof before my pill wears off.

Ah Gracie - I really do avoid the conversation of anything to do with the ol' junk in the trunk. Especially if it's mine. And I would certainly never point at someone elses caboose, mainly because it always comes back to my big ol' bahind. So you see? Circular...and it just keeps going.

Rock's voice is nice, so I imagine his booty would be too. Not that I would be looking. <halo>

So - an earthquake huh? My friend in Oklahoma told me they felt it too. That thing must have been huge. I haven't even watched the news today to find out about it.

I have a cold. A nasty, snotty, sneezy cold. Totally ticks me off. I can't breathe through my nose. Horrid. Going to be mouth breathing as I sleep tonight. Poor, poor professor.

I'm glad you mentioned the quake, up till now I thought I'd had some kind of spasm that shook my bed last night.

It was eery...

at first I thought it might be wind. big gusts move my house around some. but it was not but barely breezy, and I had just come in from listening to the K State game on smoky's car radio. (the only decent AM radio on the property)

gram thought her cat was responsible...

I was lying in bed, not yet asleep, kinda freaked me out a little, thought someone was shaking my bed, then I hadda feel my legs, thought I was havin some kinda weird spasm, I don't think I'd like California much.

When I lived in Chicago, I spent more time in Cali than I did Illinois. kinda ironic that my first time was back here on the prairie again.

sounds like mebbe we should get used to it. that fault has become pretty active over the last year or so...

Yep, sounds like we will likely see an increase in activity.
I hope next time my mind will identify it a bit sooner.
