they burned real nice, I remember wondering how I got walnut mixed with my elm and cedar junk.
I have a lot of scrap wood that I will burn in the shop stove. It is a lot bigger, and has a short, easily cleaned out chimbley. I even have an oil dripper on it, but it is more trouble than it's worth usually. fire hazard if I get wonky and forgetful. yucky stinky heavy smoke one night all over in town. cars driving around trying to find out what was fogging the city...
I have a splitter I can borrow when I get enough stuff cut to length to make it worthwhile to haul it over. Nissan guy has that as part of my on call mechanic service payment.
