and I'm getting kinda loopy. good thing I'm almost done...

I'm eh, which for me is normal.

Getting asked to do a lot of jobs. I said yes to everything. Thud.

Having problems with a prescription and Medicaid. Gonna call a hospital soical worker.

Gonna have dinner this weekend with two pals. Chinese methinks. The dinner, not the pals.

Stinky is looking at me like I've lost my mind. he knows it's not a concert night cuz I'm not all in black.

but we are still up at 4...

gonna crash as soon as I don't stink of coolant.

got things settled out a little. gonna work a while on a malibu tonight.

spoke with auntie Diane for a bit earlier on my way to town. she sounded really good.

we miss bob...

got some cherries at wally's.

gonna make me a black forest sundae later.

kinda melon collie tonight...

gonna take smoky shopping, and then we're gonna go see the crispy kid's new assisted living apartment.

we're gonna use up the last day of summer as best we can.

mr vw has his annual guppy harvest tomorrow. I gotta go cook lots of stuff I can't eat for folks I kinda know...

I think smoky is gonna come over long enough to eat and have a beer. it may be cold and rainy.

that won't sit askew with me, I miss the rain...

long day.

but the winds are blowing hard from the north, and summer is gone.

hasta la vista, baby...

making gluten free pasta with meat sauce. smoky gets the real thing, but has to live with my pork only and lotsa veggie sauce...

it's vewy vewy quiet...

no air conditioner noise. I can hear the cricket symphony. and bubba crying for her dinner...

gonna go down to 60 tonight.

76 for the high tomorrow.

Ima break out the sweatshirts...

I don't seem to be able to get out of vampire mode...

oh well.

spent an hour tonight finding all the pieces to make my compression guage work (i don't often use it)

after all that trouble, the engine is locked up, and won't turn over...

swaps start at half a grand.

and I seem to be getting acclimated to the new weather. finally...

I still automatically recoil as I open the door to leave the cabin.

the sunlight is not scalding any more...

off to start yanking an engine.

just spoke to mr vw.

booboo died this morning...

we knew it was coming. he was 19.

and Twinkie, his mom, is still kicking. but not very strongly...

boo was always my buddy. he found me whenever I visited, to get his skritch on...
