I have a real nice tow dolly, and a longer leash from this dreadful state. (tomorrow will be 50 days over 100 this year)

I'll need to upgrade my truck first, but I think I have an angle on that, too.

got a 55 Ford that I can swap for, and I've been itching to start putting late model fuely motors in antique heavy metal.

gotta see how fast the cash starts to flow this fall...

somehow wound up assigned to a different crew last night when I arrived for the out. they called it "set".

I called it hell.

wrestlers are different from rock stars in a coupla ways.

one being they are bigger, heavier, and break **** all the time. so everything must be bigger, heavier, and resist breaking all the time...

we broke down insanely heavy stage from underneath, lifting it out for extraction. and I will never look at a cage match the same way again. that cage is a lot heavier than it looks...

several parts of me don't wanna work right today.

fortunately, I scheduled for this, and only plan on leaving the cabin to water the garden.

after it cools down tonight...

I've got cars here to work on, just nobody expecting anything today.

I will resume toiling tomorrow in the heat.

got to take an old beetle bug body off the frame and put new floors in it next week. s'posed to be highs in the 80's all week long.

I picked a great day for a cabin day.

it set an all time record today.

108 firkin degrees...

we've got some 90s coming back for a couple days starting tomorrow but it's been almost fall-like.

We won't see the 90's until 9/18 when we will see 99, then 90's until mid-October.

Ugh. No thanks.

while I was in talking to mr pyro about cars, (he hangs out in a semi-trailer backed up to the dock with all his goodies in it...) the newest big sensation came in to check on a stunt.

Sheamus. big herkin Irish kid. ghostly white skin. freckles. bright crazy red hair.

He stopped and shook my hand as he was waiting.

He's come a long way in the last year. he was a shy, outcast kinda kid when I first saw him...

yuck.

antifreeze bath. used nasty antifreeze, not that it really matters...

now I gotta haul water and berl a shower...

and I'm only at the turn.

still gotta install a new radiator in a really poorly designed spot...

at least its cooled down into the 80's now.
