another good night's sleep...

almost done with my tea. (talked to the manager at the market, and instead of having me sorting through the discount bin and taking all the earl grey, he just sold me a case of it. $6...)

gonna go water my garden, and hook up to the scrap trailer. slip over and make some run money, and stop to put on my new tires. they been waiting there patiently for almost a month for me to get time to mount and balance them. (my machine won't work till the electrician gets done)

then gonna stop and make me a salad at the grocery joint, and go lunch at the vw house.

I gotta bid an exhaust job at 4.

planting of onions and carrots to commence if I still feel ok when I return.

(gotta stop at wally's and buy some more cat food. this time I am counting sacks...)

be safe kids...

ok.

sacrificed the salad bar for a jumpstart at reclaiming some more land.

leftover fried rice instead.

regrouped, refreshed, recharged (not shaking from the mower any more)

ready to go sell iron.

and bid a catalytic converter swap on a repeating jetta consumer...

toodles.

things are shaping up a little bit now...

dropped the converter off of the jetta. broke 2 of 4 studs off the manifold.

hafta torch 'em tomorrow, and replace all 4.

this is why we charge good money to play underneath the exhaust system.

got wrongparted, but recovered, and wound up $20 to the good.

sold a coupla distributors, and actually landed home with cash in pocket, and gas in hot rod...

and my care package came in from the windy city today. lotsa food I can eat. I';m nibbling on ginger snaps now. ain't had a cookie in 25 days. was in serious withdrawal...ack...(and some new music)

and all of my freshly planted crops are getting rained on.

gotta say that almost everything in my life is turning the corner. almost.

anyways, got everything lined out for tomorrow's tasks, and might even have time to load up a bunch of bamboo to transplant next to the cabin for my water garden.

off to shower, I'm kinda manky...

@msolga,
g'nite msO.

I already got a coonskin cap, dad.

had it since I was a kid. keep it at grams. she's mighty fond of it, too...

I'm pretty sure I can't eat coon, anyway.

I can't eat more than I can any more.

@Rockhead,
tYre tracks are no problem but the Quarentine regulations here would be.
I'd get arrested so do not send.
The thoughts a nice one though thanks.

@dadpad,
they make synthetic ones now, would you like one of them...?

it is 35 degrees, and blustery spitting snow.

but, I don't care about that.

I am planting a wild honeysuckle tree...

and some japanese roses, and several rosy sharons...

it is spring in the cellblock of my mind.

but I'm wearing my wintery clothes, just the same...

today's project is to manufacture a fuel sending unit for a 66 Chrysler.

I have a donor out of a 73 Duster, and a torch...

my canajun carrots made their debut during this morning's watering session.

and the rooster from down the road reinforced my decision to just keep hens in the chicken pen...

toodles.

@Rockhead,
hamburgboy trained me well as a garden shoveller back in the day

double-digging in clay

jumping up and down on the spade top, it was quite a job

you got clay?
