@wayne,
I did a rain dance yesterday and then went running around. it rained on me 3 different times, but the ranch never saw a drop...

next time I'll stay home after I do it.

we're in central Kansas. for your sake, I hope you are somewhere better...

@Rockhead,
Off center seems to be the typical result of life in central Kansas. Smile

@wayne,
yuppers...

you a native, or mentally challenged?

on a thread related topic...

I officially gave up on the garden today. makes me kinda sad, I ate my last tomato tonight.

the physical toll of watering twice every day was starting to encroach on my earning potential.

next year we will try again with some extra knowledge gained...

nytol.

i'm blathered ...

@Rockhead,
LOL, I think it was my great grandfather who was mentally challenged, I'm just stuck in the middle with you.
My toms have been slow this year, might get a ripe one about monday, I hope.
Last year I was swimming in them.

I suffered from that affliction once upon a time. Then I heeded H. Greeley's advice.

@Ticomaya,
I love that song, Stuck in the Middle With You

Tico, did you know that advice was not originally by Horace Greeley?

"Go west, young man, and grow up with the country."

@Ticomaya,
I think my ancestors did that, must a had a flat tire or ran outa gas.
Seriously though, we talk that way here because Kansas is paradise and we want to keep it a secret.

I thought Kansas was cool till I went everywhere else.

Arizona is akin to Hell in my book, but to each her own...

big thunder going on.

we have a severe heat warning and severe thunder warning at the same time.

and the combines are running like crazy to beat the storm.

Ima work deep in the night out in the shop, and soak in some cool air.

wow.

stepped out on the patio to look at the rain gauge, and so was a snake. (different one. smaller)

he moved really fast across the cement to the corner tropical garden. Really fast.

no red, and smaller brown and yellow stripes all around him...lengthwise.

I kinda feel like Samuel L Jackson all of a sudden...

Yes, I actually did. But I was an actor in a play when I was a kid, and the playwright and director attributed the quote to Greeley in one of my lines, so I still do as well.
