wow what a pace...

went over to the salvage and got parts to fix Josh's kids door. (el camino)

and we got torrential rains and hail off and on...

then after we got the door done, Josh decided we should put my devil head grill ornament on the bonneville.

and during the process, I noticed a slick black ford (nascar edition) truck out back with van chase stuff all over it.

it was Josh's partners truck, and it needs a heater core. so he decided to sell it.

it will look nice parked next to the bonneville at my house...

gonna pick up a core tomorrow and slam it in over the weekend. got a guy I work on stage with that has been bugging me to buy my chevy.

and mr vw called me this afternoon with a guy hot to give me a grand for a used vw motor I have been holding onto.

actually, you can tell mine from that one, mine has a coolio jolly roger front plate on it...

enjoyed driving it tonight. it's a lot more truck than my chevy.

and it's purty...

I decided to tag both of them for this month so I can move two loads to a trip. H is gonna come help me with moving house and the reassembly of the vert. she needs some cash, and I like having a pretty little assistant on my arm.

we'll call it the Billy Gibbons philosophy of car building...

and today starts day 1 of my new life.

gonna try and keep up appearances as much as I can, and not appear in public when I am less than. if I can help it...

off to see the little chinese guy one last time, so as to start off with all of my laundry clean.

stinky and I will move to living there on whatever day they decide to move my internet service. prolly Tuesday.

not really gonna take much from here, even though most of it is mine if I want it.

I want a clean break.

I found the house I want to buy yesterday. it belongs to chuck also.

had to go meet him there to pay my rent.

as soon as the current renter moves, it is mine.

bethie, there is a chicken house on site. but neighbors that don't want a rooster crowing. I hafta rework the pen once I get settled in, but they are quarantined in the coop here because of the damn eagle anyways.

chuck's coop is nicer than mine. gonna make an automatic door for it...

Great to hear the girls can come with you. I've been wondering about them ... didn't like to mention them when I didn't know what was happening. But if you have a chicken house there - good news!

Good news too that you've found a possible future home. How old are the current occupants - any idea?

she's gonna check with her boss about dairy free creamer so's I can stop in for a daily coffee and a smile. lotsa southern charm. long red hair. big blue eyes...

like I said, I can't wait to live in the new place.
