I watch the weather from my computer mostly. I knew we weren't in danger of snow soon, but the thunderstorms were off my radar.

I will be working at C2 all day Tuesday, and Wednesday will be mostly about recovering.

now that the vert lives at the new place, rain is not as critical to my plans. the new garage doesn't leak...

after a half day at the casino, I wandered down to Wellington to meet with a guy that had heard about me, and bid his 71 bus.

I went with the intention of shooting him high, as I really don't need a big project right now.

he's gonna come see the vert and talk real dinero sometime this week.

as a pleasant update to one of our previous conversations, I have overdrive back. (limited uses)

the ability to alternate pizza and gumbo while pulling 16 hour days has been wonderful. if I can continue producing the funding.

meals are out in front of gas right now, and I am doing a hella lotta miles...

weird weird weird day...

worked as an assistant to the show carpenter. she had good things to say about us. we kicked some ass...

and H banged a curb on her way in, and had zero brake activity going on in her buick.

so at lunch we had gumbo and stopped at QT for an expensive little can o' brake fluid.

and we (she had her doggie) went back and made a puddle. (brake fluid)

the main hard line to the rear of the car had ruptured where it turns the corner into the frame.

ugly...

I went to O'Reilly's and rented a double flaring set, bought some line and tube nuts, a cutter and some reasonably priced brake fluid.

and did surgery in the parking lot of C2 (so I could go back in and wash up. rehearsal tonight)

after I was done we went and shared a pizza.
