I've been compiling cool iron pieces.

I hope to do some sculpting soon.

got a lot of swirling emotions to try and catch in a piece. while they are still swirling.

it makes for a much more compelling statement...

it appears the line of thunder has passed, mostly just skirting us. some wind and noise, a nice rain, but nothing more than itty bitty hail...

gonna dump my buckets and go back to trying to make a place for myself in smoky's trailer.

the crispy kid has signed off on the place, and I am 99 percent sure smoky is not returning but for visits...

If I move into the real house, I will prolly keep this trailer as a studio. I have a lot of car related art that I can make a real man-cave outta my place.

the daily stress they brought would be overkill at this point.

I'm out $150, but I have peace of mind.

my chickens don't wanna be anywhere but here...

I'm seeking a balance that they would not equate within.

maybe some day, but I kinda doubt it.

I want to be able to take and leave for a week at the drop of a hat. gonna do the guest sales rep from the past thing for some old friends, I think.

my nebbors can handle the cats and chickens. but that's prolly about all...

I approximated his advice, and they proceeded to get their money back, and if the guy was telling the truth, there's some folks locally looking for work.

he was less than pleased with how folks representing him were treating customers...

I'm making an ornamental doggie gate for my new friend. out of an old screen door.

it's gonna be kinda cool, but I think I want to go buy a little square tubing to finish it. all the scrap I have is wrong, and I think I can get what I need for $20.

I need to visit the yard store anywho.

I've almost got the crispy kid's old room cleaned out.

Ima call my internet folks and see what it would cost to have someone come out and add two hookup spots. and bill me when I have more dough...

funny thought from a lost generation...

onstage the other day, we were all sitting around awaiting our turn to work again (there is a lot of sitting around if things get off track)

one of the show bosses wandered through, and saw us sitting on various boxes, and tossed out a hey hey hey as he went.

after he was almost out of earshot, I muttered "obey-kaybe..."

he laughed out loud, as did most of my crew.

we're all old...

scrap metal yard plus surplus store. lotsa leftover aircraft stuff. cool cheap tools.

metal by the pound. in orderly piles. fasteners heaven. lotsa stainless steel bolts.

it's kinda fall like again. chilly to my delicate nature...

gotta decide if I want to go see a $5 concert at the arboretum with mr vw.

but Ima get out and do something. the weather is too nice not to.
