I had to laugh...

my soldier client called me back while I was scrambling my eggs. (mmmmmm. country fresh eggs)

he asked if I cared if he brought a buddy with the group. and asked if I had a grill?

I am officially a picnicking destination spot...

the gasoline heaters are just a bonus.

(bring your own buns)

@Rockhead,
I'm a great believer in peace and love and herbs and chit and chat and yin and yang and ping and pong.

Are there many at your herbal gatherings?.. man?

everybody brings a dish.

mr vw always covers dessert.

@Rockhead,
Used to go to something like that, a Hare Krishna run informal gathering, loads of orange (colour), lentils, you know a nice ambiance going.
Oh and the food was free, he he....

Or am I reading this wrong and it's a booze up you're on about? or a council meeting. Wink

@Rockhead,
Hey Rockie--I discovered recently that I can get PBS America on my TV. I watched a programme about Gen. Custer earlier and it was like another world from Fox and CBS.

As I always trust people who work with their hands over anybody else I wondered what your opinion of the channel is. Some of the still photographs in that programme were amazing.

A pal of mine has a sand-blasting business. Mastablast. Crazy!! Spends his weekends on a longboat tootling along the canals getting pissed.

@spendius,
I would have to go find it to see it, spendi.

I've not had a tv for a long time.

anything PBS is usually good...

I stopped by my buddy jimmy's place the other day.

he was working on a car with a breath tester installed on it. trying to make it run right.

and every time it died, he had to blow in it again.

he was getting irritated at me for laughing, so I had to leave...

@Ticomaya,
gas heaters for beetles.

they are $250 apiece and going fast.

do you want one, or are you just a shill...?

cause as a shill, you'd make a good attorney...

WTF...

the yuppies have taken over the lumber yard.

they do not have any fine graded sand.

except "play sand"...

specially washed and fluffed, then bagged so that your kiddies don't play in cat turds in the sandbox until after you leave it open overnight.

I hope it is fine enough to suit my purpose...

got some hot dogs, a purple onion and some celery.

gonna make some tater salad for tomorrow's cookout. and mebbe some baked beans...

eggs are done and bathing in cold water.

taters gotta boil till the skins split...

been hanging out with the vert. getting in the spirit to sandblast.

gonna wrap up like a muslim dude first.

and gonna be all done in the kitchen before I crack the valve.

I will still be nasty when I get done. It's just part of the deal...

hopefully when I get ready, the radio will go back to music instead of whinging and apologizing for the terrible play of the chefs.

it's gonna be a long season in KC it sounds like...
