the doctors at the hospital are puzzled as to why he is there, and trying to get ahold of his physician.

all this has done so far is piss smoky off at me...

I hadda leave and go buy a chicken.

I'm flaring really badly today and had to eat something solid and helpful. the nasty headache is blowing full steam.

over to mr vw's to eat where I had a pill stashed.

this is far from over, unfortunately...

he's been admitted overnight at least.

he has some loss of kidney function due to his dehydration, most likely.

someone will call me tomorrow and tell me what happens next, I guess...

gonna do a load of laundry and take a shower.

then go start welding pinholes in a hood... (I finally got my regulator hooked up so my shielding gas will work properly. I think...)

then maybe another shower. if I get dirty enough.

gonna enjoy bathing while the opportunity presents itself.

funny what becomes important after 2 years of camping...

I feel like I'm in some kind of foggy dream right now. nothing seems quite real.

except that emptiness inside of me that keeps growing...

sounds like a pretty horrid situation. I hope things get sorted and settled soon.

I hadda come back in and put long pants and a sweatshirt on.

rapid temperature changes still kick my butt...

gonna try and work hard tonight so I don't think much about other than metal rebuilding.

got the triple cd player in the shop loaded and loud...

queen.

came in for a snack.

spicy hummus and rice chips and a salad.

the upgrades to my welder are working well.

both the speed and the quality of my work should improve...

it flows like butter now.

decided to use my new welding set-up to build a new welding cart.

looked at one at harbor frate that was an over-priced cheesy little fall apart thing on undersized casters.

I built mine out of a donor iron bed frame and two eight inch inflatable lawn mower tires.

a high performance welding cart, if you will, that holds my #3 argon bottle nice and snuggly tight. and puts my machine at a nice working height.

with a shelf below for my brushes and nozzle dip.

it rocks.

gonna paint it tomorrow...

now I desperately need a shower. I stink of iron.

and I prolly oughta get some sleep sometime soon...

ahhhhh.

everything is better after a hot shower.

I smell of dove soap. and I shaved.

gonna hurry up and crash, it's starting to pale in the east...

busy day tomorrow. later today. whatever...

he has a bad UTI and is being screened by a psychiatrist for dementia...

the nurse is still lobbying toward long term care in a facility after that.

I'm just busting balls to get my life caught back up while I have no dependents.

I'm over to mr vw's helping fix a problem child big motor bug, then I'm setting up to weld a new shifter bushing support into an old beetle. got my old little welder set up here so I can just show up and work without bringing but myself...

I'm home, with my evening in front of me.

feels weird starting while it's still light outside...

gonna go make me some scrambled eggs on toast, I think.

I need something solid in me. I had a salad over to mr vw's, but it didn't stay with me...
