hmmmm.

went to check on smoky, and he had forgot we was gonna grill tonight.

the church ladies brought him a box dinner, and he was half way through his fried chicken when I got there...

his steak will just be that much better tomorrow, and my salmon is still frozen, so tomorrow it is. 'posed to be cooler, but no wind and clear and sunny. we'll be fine...

Earache brought me a half a truckload of hedge, already cut to length while he was working for a nearby town. gotta love that boy. and he had his new girlfriend with him.

spring is in the air for sure...

Crazy temps here. Going down to -11 celsius tonight (will feel like -18). Going up to +13 celsius on Wednesday.

No wonder my feet are aching.

@Rockhead,
We were cold down here today. Well I say cold. It is so much cooler than it has been - upper 50's maybe? 60's? Anyway I am done with the booth. It was a good day - much easier than yesterday - but my feet are killing me. I wore the wrong shoes. My bad.

Enjoy your salmon. I am calling it a night.

G'nite!

@mismi,
If it's anything like working a car show, Sundays are usually anticlimactic.

and comfortable shoes are a must.

rest easy, feather...

got my window in the truck. tricky but easy once I understood the module concept. I'd not been into one of these doors before. kinda cool in it's own unique way...

no salmon till tomorrow, having tuna salad again. prolly a crab cocktail later when I get hungry again.

I've been living in Skechers for months ... they're pampering my arthritic paws.

The d-lite fuzzy-wuzzy's I have on right now are probably too warm for Alabama, but ohhhhhhhh they feel good (and $20 at the outlet).

@ehBeth,
them are kinda clod-hoppery...

hadda come in for some rubbing alcohol to clean the windshield with., I'm rehanging the rear=view mirror. already replaced the glass in the drivers side mirror.

I'll charge the batteries for the camera and take some shots of it tomorrow. gonna go over early and have the boys help me figger out why I got no power past the dash...

they got computer generated wiring schematics, and all I have is a lyin' old haynes manual I found in a car I was crushing...

@ehBeth,
Ima focus on dinner and trying to be abed by the witching hour.

this week my goal is to try and be up and functional by 10 every morning. we'll see. my average of late is 1:00. but that is up from 4 two weeks ago...

one day at a time.

got the truck ready to go. it feels weird to be in a spotless vehicle. snowplow guy is worse than I am about packing crap around in his vehicles. every time I work on one, he gets a cardboard box of stuff I hadda pick up to be able to work in the cab...

temps are dropping sharply, Ima go get a load of kindling and get ready to put my slippers on and stay inside...

@ehBeth,
not gonna happen.

mr vw has birds.

noisy dirty little buggers. (sorry Fred...)

It should be an interesting day.

by the end of it, I should know whether or not this truck is gonna need a transmission.

If it does, I will have the one from my other truck built. it only needed a band. (I would have new clutches put in just on principle)

still hoping it comes around, but I doubt it. trannys rarely fix themselves unless they are low on fluid.
