Relieved to see your post...was getting concerned.

Just heard there is a tornado on the ground north of Louisville, KY. Checked in with Mysteryman, they're well to the south of it and out of harms way.

Was up at the dog park about a half hour ago and had to come home because we suddenly were getting high winds, blowing dust and snow flurries...

We're supposed to have temps in the 70's on Sunday... I'm hoping this is the last cold snap of the season so I can start planting my veggie seeds in the garden.

her very nice neigbhor lady diane.

they talk aboot their cats.

she was happy and tired. no need to spend $25 in gas. better to give her another day to get worn out. Ima take her to the art museum next time they have a cool free saturday.

sometimes we to the arboretum too...

for a cold front, it's hella nice today.

goldie looks good out in the sun with the tire stripe removed and a detail job.

decided to go get the 4x4 tomorrow. I bought a lot of frozen stuff at whole foods, and even though I had a cooler with me, I dint want all my exotic expensive foodstuffs to start deteriorating. and smoky was kinda wonky. so we just came straight home from our store run.

there's plenty to do without fresh parts for now. Ima put the window in it, and pull apart the dash to see where my power stops.

gonna try and go bed by midnight tonight. this 4 am **** has got to quit...

I think a lady was flirting with me in the yogurt aisle at whole foods, but it's been so long since I had that happen that I'm not sure.

I am going to attempt to make butterscotch pudding tonight using coconut milk.

been looking at the boxes left from the purge of poison food, and decided to see if it will work or not.

gotta decide what to do aboot dinner. I need to go fire up the shop stove and get a buzz going. so I can quit earlier. I was on a roll last night, and dint wanna stop. paying the price today. groggy.

prolly ought to toss that chicken in a pot and let it start being soup...

I dug out my reference manual on my truck so I can chase power outtages. nice to have all my books organized, dry, and at my ready disposal.

starting to feel like I run a business again a little bit.

gonna hafta untarp the convertible bug and get to cranking on it. it will be warm enough to spray primer verra soon...

Ima thaw the boneless pork ribs I bought last week on closeout and make them tomorrow. maybe try augratin potatoes with fake milk. dunno.

I bought smoky a big thick ribeye that was reduced for quick sale. gonna grill it for him on Sunday. he bitched and said he dint want it, but I know he will like it. gonna marinate it until then. I'll thaw some salmon to make for me. got a lemon today, planning ahead. that's all I use a lemon for...

still dunno what I want tonight. prolly tuna sammiches again. cuz it's in the fridge and ready to go...

I have fewer restrictions on my intake.

and no childrens observing my bad habits.

unless you are tippling, in which case we would be about on par with one another.

My internet access is plugged into the wall by a humongo dinosaur of a tower. But it works.

I wonder if the boys iTouches can pick it up down there.

You know I tipple on two glasses of wine - or three beers right? On #2 beer riiiiiiight now. Saving the third for my pizza.

I am pretty sure you boil it with spices, onions, garlic...so you can make a good stock. That's what I do. She may do it differently though.
