@ehBeth,
on second thought, belly dancing is probably not the bestest choice for me. my belly is not my best feature...

or my best friend.

we have a largish mediterranean population here, I would guess there is belly dancing going on somewherse in town.

I know that there are several establishments featuring pole dancing...

(not that I frequent them)

@ehBeth,
I LOVE him. He is awesome - and really - he totally cracks me up while at the same time I am impressed that he has such great twitch.

Her hands are amazing. I have been sitting here trying to see if mine will do that and I am afraid I would struggle with it myself.

I am looking into it Beth...the classes are $60 for 5 weeks here. That's not too bad...when I get a job, I will definitely look into it. Smile Or when I get the furniture I bought finished and start getting a good rotation going...

ah well. We'll just have to see I guess.

Love it though. Always have.

@Rockhead,
Yeah...I am sure. Do you know that there are actually work out classes that use poles? It teaches you to pole dance while getting your heart rate up to burn calories...totally cracks me up. And while that is impressive what the gals to on the poles...I just can't see me doing it.

Hope that belly behaves tonight.

@mismi,
Find out if they will accept volunteer work in trade for classes.

I haven't had to pay for classes at the main studio I go to for about six months - and won't have to pay for about another six.

I did some sewing for a couple of their shows and Set acts as their doorman for their big galas once or twice a year. Quite a few people put in a few hours of week at the reception desk in exchange for classes. Lots of that sort of thing going on at dance/yoga studios. You usually have to go for a bit to figure out how that works - unless they've got a big sign up front "need volunteers"!

The big studio is looking for men and women to be in the crowd scene at their next gala - they're doing a show about the Egyptian revolution - that will be worth class time as well, and beginners can easily be 'crowd'.

@ehBeth,
That's a great idea Beth. I will call and see if they need volunteers.

Rock - seriously - the only thing I could think of that would compare to me on a pole would be this...

Pretty sure there would be a lot of views - but it would be kind of like a train wreck. That kind of mesmerizing.

Wink Take care of you.

yeah...I am pretty sure it is too. Well - carrying a baby is subjective...some folks carry it all neat and nice in their bellies....others of us like to divide it up - especially when giving birth to two at a time.... Wink

I probably should have refrained from posting last night. eek.

I hope you rested well.

@mismi,
Okay - I have to go try to fix my sink...it's dripping all over my towels in the bathroom cabinet. I can't figure out where it's coming from though. The Professor said something last night and I looked at it and thought it was just an anomaly and wouldn't happen again. But - the boys just hollered at me that the towels were wet. Crud. It's always something around here.

@Rockhead,
Well deer meat is eaten 3 out of 7 days in this household. Mainly because we have a lot of friends that hunt. But it's not a bad thing. I made a venison tenderloin last week that was amazing.

So you can bet and feel pretty secure in your return.

@mismi,
how goes the plumbing adventure, little missy britches?

my truck has solid compression on all 8 holes, but two of the plugs look iffy.

gonna demand a set of wires, and go drive it and see if it sets any codes...

this is awesome news, as I sold him this used motor last year when I was very poor (go figure) and made only $100 on it. (plus labor to install it) I woulda prolly (it's been a long time, but not many miles, he had a tranny issue unrelated to my work) hadda warranty it for verra little.

now I get paid to figger out why it's a slug...

bubba has a new favorite thing. I get my mechanics gloves toasty warm, then call her for pets.

smokin' kitty...

@Rockhead,
I am sure Bubba enjoys that!

Well...I can't figure out where the water is coming from. It is not wet under the sink at all. So bizarre. I just left everything out of it and will hope to catch it dripping after it's used.

Well...the car work sounds like it's going well?

Very Happy

@mismi,
Ima be glad to get it outta the shop. it only comes halfway in without putting the vert bug outside. (not gonna happen)

gotta change out the A/C condenser while I have it inside. then it's road test time. It's not giving me a code just sitting in the shop and idling. it had a constant code showing before...

Ima start taking the body off the 64 bug if I can vacate and clean the shop. I have an open week to get it done.

and Ima tell snowplow guy to pay me in wood so's I don't hafta fight with it.

he has beautiful golden oak that burns like molten honey...
