@msolga,
You never say that to gomer...why is that ? Is there any bias in that decision or just simple emotions ?

@Ionus,
Gomer?

I was reacting to what was looking like becoming an endless string of insulting, increasingly unpleasant posts, one after the other, Ionus.

Once was enough for me, thanks.

And now that that's over (I hope!) , can we move on, please?

@Ionus,
Condescension presumes that you even understand the topic in that Im supposedly being condescending. Im , more correctly, being magisterial and you dont like being called ignorant because you picture yourself as pretty smart in all things biological.
Ive bet youve been buffaloing your buddies about how much you know. I, more likeley represent the many here on A2K that think

"Well he doesnt seem to know **** about what Im talking about, how can I trust him in other subjects in which I have no basic knowledge"

Thats just how my mind works

"Or in other words
"Are you just lying here and do you lie like this in other threads too"?

Well, the concept of evolution has a few "Laws" such as "COntemporaneity precludes common ancestry by either" so albacore and Bluefin orginated from a common ancestor but they didnt arise from each other. See the difference??
Is this an attempt to twist the topic or is your mind wandering again ? Do you think it is impossible for albacore to replace bluefin ? Absolutely impossible ? Like mamals replacing dinosaurs, that sort of impossible ?

Quote:
If you can ashow me where my statement even remotely can be interpreted that way Ill clean your birdcage for a week. ......Albacore is a tropical fish, bluefin is coldwater and has developed "warm bloodedness".... Albacore tuna wont "evolve "
Whales were tropical but evolved warm blooded when they moved into cold waters. They now inhabit both waters. Your assumption is that albercore cant live in cold waters and therefore cant replace bluefin. Dangerous ground to say what evolution can and cant do. Will you be collecting the cage or shall I mail it ?

This is not the seniors home and you are not doing your calisthenics. I dont think you have much concern for any humans unless they can make you money like your barnyard animals. Or provide you with tuna to eat. Or a large vehicle to drive around so you can polute the countryside and run over the wildlife.

@Ionus,
Has it ever occurred to you that farmerman might be responding to the endless personal insults you're spewing out here, Ionus?

You can only go so long, without responding, surely?

If you stopped then he'd have nothing to respond to.

Problem solved!

Personally I wish you would have a go at stopping yourself .
This is awful to watch.

Allow me to correct that :

Whales were tropical but evolved to be able to maintain warm blooded when they moved into cold waters.
Getting angry with a senior citizen does distact from writing accurately.

Sorry, Ionus.
But I think you're completely losing the plot.
I repeat: this is awful & very embarrassing to observe.

@Ionus,
Thanks for your consideration, Ionus.
But you really don't have to exit for that reason, you know.
(To me, anyway) it's more about how to cope with a discussion/debate on an issue where you can't possibly ever agree.
I've been in this situation myself & I know it's possible to get very hot under the collar. Sometimes you just have to walk away, calm down & collect your thoughts about what you're debating about. (Well that's what I've had to do, anyway.)

If this is your final answer, ITS STILL WRONG. Whles were NEVER COLD BLOODED and anyway you try to spin it , it just reinforces your ignorance to say otherwise. Sorta like Dinosaur DNA

When all you can say is nonsesne , all your insults are easily seen as mere covering up your lack of scholarship with insane volume .

Nothing to apologize for to anyone here, farmer. I fully understand your frustration.

This just keep reverting to "one of those threads", with regular monotony, unfortunately. Neutral
