In order to get direct deposit from my employer, they need a canceled check but I don't have any paper checks to give them one as a sample for them to start the direct deposit program in the first place. I want direct deposit so I won't have to worry about losing another paycheck again.

AS for my lost paycheck? I'm sure I'm going to have them cancel the old one and have them reissue me a new one. <<<sigh>>> C'est la vie!

I repented against my prior sin of flubbing my platelet donation with a successful donation today. Just took my bandage off from my right arm. You're supposed to keep it on for 6 hours after the donation (or I guess one's arm falls off or something like that).

My left arm still has a small vestige of a bruise from the failed donation two weeks ago. I called it my brown badge of courage to the intake nurse in the intake interview today.
