Today we take my father to a specialist. His normal doctor thinks he is having mini strokes or seizures and that is what is causing the "change" randomly. He is also going to be getting an MRI. So I will let you all know what goes on with that after the fact.

As for the appointment, an EKG and an MRI have been scheduled to rule out the strokes and seizures for the 11th of next month. They took blood work and what not. HE has gained weight thankfully (I stopped finishing his dinner when he didn't want any more). Doctor is making him quit smoking which I am very thankful for (3 packs a day).

It was a "Hi, I am so and so, tell me what is wrong" kind of appointment, will know more soon though.

Well, that's interesting. I so hope he can progress. I'm very glad all these tests are being done.

Just got off the phone with the ex. Things were civil, things were good. Caught up, let the bad blood drain away. Listened to my daughter scream out car and truck as they passed by.

Then she got on the phone said "Hi daddy. Love you. Present."

So much for the bad weekend. this makes up for it 10 fold.

So if I didn't have enough decisions to make in my life.

My ex called me. She apparently has feelings for me and again and wants to get back together with me. I don't exactly harbor the same feelings. I want to have a civil relationship with her, and I think this is very possible. She seems to have calmed a lot over the past few years (mostly because of Avery). Though she thinks that the best thing in life was me and she doesn't like the fact that she was stupid enough to let that go.

Though she no longer plans to keep Avery away from me, she is even volunteering to drive her the two hours (seemingly every weekend) down to see me. I hope things stay civil.

(and no, I don't think I could ever be with her again. but we could def. be friends)
