Yes, me too, Osso! Shoe -- are you my sibling by any chance? Or maybe our parents are related! Yes, growing up in a household which takes politics and civic responsibility seriously is important.

well, I really should have said that I would like to drive vans of people to vote. But I haven't yet volunteered. And I'm not sure where I'll be living now that I think about it anyway. So we'll see.

I hope somebody drives those vans!

I'm trying to encourage all the young voting age friends of my kids to vote and my kids do the same, though my daughter has confided that she hopes so & so won't vote since that might cancel her vote!

I'd like to hear from the 6% who voted (above) that they don't vote normally... What keeps them from voting?

Joe -- San Angelo. Are you still there? If not, have you seen it lately? Wow.

I think that many people just don't care about voting. They are content with leaving their neighbors to make the decisions for them.

Given the current corporate situation, I think we're due for a new take on an old slogan: "No representation without taxation."

So as not to duck the issue, I would say the Bear household is making a healthy menu choice here.

Salmon is especially healthy for bears who have bi-polar personalities.
