Al Green reworked the The BeeGee's "How Do You Mend A Broken Heart". Killer.
The Isley's have a great cover of "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World".
Muddy Waters version of the Stones "Let's Spend the Night Together".

Leon's "This Masquerade" is rarely heard, most people prefer George Benson's version.

deja vu all over again--thought there was a thread just like this long ago. anyway, Johnny Rivers cover of Chuck Berry's Memphis is pretty cool. as to whether Rivers got the *inspiration* from hearing an unreleased Elvis demo, we probably won't learn in this lifetime.
