@ehBeth,
I came here because a FB post put me in a ukulele mood. George Harrison somewhat resembled the love of my life and I always love While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Here's Jake Shimabuko doing an amazingly sexy version on the uke.
This is an unusual post because there is one terrific cover in the this movie trailer -- a young group called No Speed Limit, fronted by a woman with a strong set of pipes and a terrific banjo player, performing that folk standard, "Darlin' Corey" -- but it advertises on the best documentaries I have ever seen, "Ain't No Mouse Music," about Arhoolie records featuring Mance Linscomb, Flaco Jimenez, Clifton Chenier and so much more.
Can't ever outdo the man himself, Robert Johnson. But his old travellin partner, Johnny Shines, does a pretty good variation of "Walkin Blues," here, eh?

I think I like this Thorogood cover of Chuck Berry's tune even better than the original. Mainly because he chucked it up even more than Chuck his own damn self. He manages to squeeze in almost all of Chuck's best licks, ya know?

Speakin a Chuck, can't resist postin a vid by the great MC5, eh?
Don't have time right now to go through entire topic, but if it hasn't been already mentioned here, "Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen" by Santana is a true classic. "Evil Ways" and "Oye Como Va" weren't too shabby, either.
