[answered]Changing the Time on A2K

Am I doing something wrong? I went to my profile page, and wanted to change the time from G-4 to G-5 to allow for the time change. It just wouldn't "take" no matter what I did. Would someone please walk me through the steps! Sad

Make sure to submit your profile as simply changing the select form will not save anything.

5:50 p.m. When I turned on my 'puter this morning, there was a notification that my computer had been reset because of the end of Daylight Saving Time.

Phoenix - i just changed mine. I initially thought it hadn't kicked in - but when I look at the bottom of this page, I'm 'on time' again.

Sorry guys, it hasn't been fixed on my computer. Looks like I will be forever on Eastern Daylight Saving Time. (Or maybe Atlantic standard Time! Sad )

No it was no bug, just that the confirmation page after submiting your profile doesn't show any changes and people were probably clicking the back button and loading it off of the cache.

I was hungry so I went off to cook (and to look outside, looks like there's been a volcano as it's raining down ashes). I knew you guys would figure it out.

BTW, please do not remove the answered tag once it has been given. It's a tag for the support personel. You were reporting normal, intended forum behavior as a bug. I recognized that there was no bug and marked it so that it was off my radar. It was inevitable that you'd figure it out and it didn't need any more support attention.

Try emptying browser cache and try again the change.
(Anyhow I think the problem must be solved on the part of the server.)

Phoenix,

The odds that it is not "fixed" (or that it was ever really broken) are VERY VERY slim.
