Yes, Ariel and Will did do a great job. As I recall, I think that YOU are the one who recommended them to me and I started by reading the Story of Philosophy to see if I liked his writing style. He's just wonderful! I lusted over the 11-volume set for a long time before I could afford to pick one up. One of my boyfriends made the purchase for me this Christmas. The set is pristine and I feel very fortunate to have both the set and the time to enjoy it now. Thanks, again, for the best advice and recommendation ever. I am very excited. It's like a dream come true to have this much history at my fingertips and so eloquent. My boyfriend also got me an historical atlas to go along with it. Thanks, again!

Heh-heh. I fooled 'em. Changed my e-mail, don't even know how to access whatever old e-mail addy is associated with this site. So I got no spurious invite. Wouldn't've known this H of F exists if it hadn't been for thisd thread and that other one.

When people follow you an email is sent to you letting you know, but if you don't want those notifications you can turn them off in your preferences.

We'll also work on avoiding situations where more than one email can be triggered etc. I think we can do some better flood control.
