@ehBeth,
See, if I had one of those, one of Setanta's history ones, and one where Spendius rediscovers the thesaurus I'd have done it proper and as if we were each writing. I went for colloquial as a cop out.

And strangely, for my own I had "Weird... I can't do me" till about a minute before I finished when I came up with an angle and some idiosyncrasies about myself to use. It's weird that I was the hardest person for me to parody.

@Robert Gentel,
There are a lot of those 'round here. Most of mine have been internalized to the point that I have no idea if I'm an infector or infectee.

Er, not so much on the S part of STD, just realized you might've meant a girlfriend was the one who you cau... learned it from.

@sozobe,
I got that one from Diva so I do mean things like picking it up online. Speaking of which that very saying is something I got from Nick, when he described some of the music in his mp3 collection as being an "STD song" from exchanging music with friends.

Yeh, that's about right. (Verbally transmitted? Verbal tic would work too.)

@Robert Gentel,
You know, that's pretty damn good.

I tried to give you two thumbs up for your work, but it seems there's a bug preventing me. So if you could go ahead and fix that...

(I actually know a good deal of the rules of english, but I sacrifice them for communication.

Here's yet another example of that familiar meme I spoke of in,

http://able2know.org/topic/141907-2#post-3910192

These rules that we fail to follow are the ones that we find either completely alien because they are not of English, or they are inappropriate to the situation.

The wabbit is, a rough guess, 15 to 20% right.

@Setanta,
I keep getting these, what is it again, "Below viewing profile".

Someone is making the decision for me to not see Setanta's numbers. Whoa, big dog, mighty impressive numbers [does 'mighty' collocate with 'impressive numbers'?]

I personally don't think that it could possibly have anything to do with a bad memory. How could that be when it can happen in virtually the next posting?

I want to know how to get it back. Mine only shows the damn time.

@DrewDad,
Oddly, I, who am admittedly not the sharpest, not quite tech phobic, but slow - usually find Robert's explanations clear. I don't think at all that he obfuscates, at least on purpose.
