@ossobuco,
I had to give up after looking at 35 pictures and no end in sight. Felt some diabetic symptoms coming up just by marveling at the photographs.

the very concept of "desserts" is foreign to my life experiences. Perhaps on holidays or special occasions there would be a pie or tart perhaps a bowl of ice cream later in the evening or a sunday afternoon but certainly not typical.

@dyslexia,
Life should be a string of desserts. Comparing one dessert from another. Sharing desserts with friends and family. Regretting that one ate a bit too much of one dessert in one sitting.

You savor the good desserts, you digest the bad desserts,
you take them both and there you have
The Facts of Desserts/The Facts of Life.

The candied cherries in ice look like fun.

Will have to look up knafeh.

@ossobuco,
I'm still scrolling (once I learned to double click on the end arrow) -
I'm getting more selective.
Meantime, I had to go to my freezer and drag out my container of homemade pear ice milk.. (now that I finally learned how to make ice cream).

Ok, last but not least, the sweet corn budino.

@ossobuco,
I know what you mean Osso. That's so antipeasant food which is the raison d'etre of pasta dish.
~~

I shouldn't read the Grubstreet blog when I'm starving to death. So before I move on, here's a great slideshow of delectable food porn for others to suffer over.

24-Hour Cupcake ATM Opens in NYC

In the city that never sleeps, you’ll now be able to satisfy your cupcake craving at any time
you want thanks to a 24-hour cupcake dispensing machine, which opened Tuesday on the
Upper East Side.

Charles Nelson, who along with his wife founded Sprinkles Cupcakes, told the New York Post
the machine lets you buy fresh, gourmet cupcakes with the push of a button.

The pink cupcake ATM, located on Lexington Avenue between 60th and 61st streets next to
Nelson’s bakery, can hold 760 cupcakes and will be restocked several times a day, Nelson told
the Post.
