Food porn varies .. mine might not be yours. Mine varies for myself, depending on where I am, the weather - tropical or blustery, the locale, my comfort needs, my amusement at elegance efforts or shunning of all that. I like a lot of food but am picky within attempts at the same recipe for (you name it). Photos are good, and video seems to have stolen the scene (mostly video annoys me, show me the damned recipe). Tasting the dish in a booth or at a family table in a cozy room is what it is about.

the topic was not meant in a sexual manner, the twitter account that i cited just gets pics of food that are usually overindulgent, high calorie creations and posts pics of them

all my pics in the topic come from that source

This is out of my league, I don't watch this stuff. Sounds like grossophilia Is that yet another osso invented word, who knows.

My ex, bless him and snip at him, sent me not only the recipe but the book that was his when we parted, Paul Bocuse's In Your Kitchen, the recipe being the one for Gratin de pommes de terre au lait - wonderful scalloped potatoes, and very simple. I'm not going to type out the recipe from the book, haven't found it online and it's unusual, so I'm respecting that.

That's food porn.
