Republicans are a bunch of lying bastards, but Obama and the Democrat party are the lying bastards in charge right now.

I'm for booting ALL incumbents out of office and starting over with a clean slate.

Hey Joe

Senator Hagan sent me an email. It's so personal....wow!! She really does listen and care about my opinion. I now feel a tremendous wonership in my government and am completely renewed....

Dear Friend,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for contacting me to share your thoughts and opinions. Since taking office, I have received an overwhelming number of calls and emails from North Carolinians like you who are ready to take an active part in our government. I appreciate each and every call and email. With our country facing some of its toughest challenges in a generation, your phone calls and messages are an important factor guiding my work here in Washington. Please be assured that we will get back to you as soon as possible regarding your specific concern.

I would like to take this opportunity to share my website with you. Please visit http://Hagan.Senate.Gov to find contact information for my offices and to stay updated as my new state offices open. You can also find information there about what I've been doing in North Carolina and Washington. It is an honor to serve as your United States Senator and I sincerely hope you will not hesitate to contact me at any time to share your concerns and voice your opinions on our country's most pressing issues.

Sincerely,

(insert photoshopped siganture here)

Kay R. Hagan
United States Senator, North Carolina

@Bi-Polar Bear,
I'm totally sure she would listen and care about your opinion - if only her busy schedule had permitted her to read what you said.

Let us know when she gets back to you "regarding your specific concern." Bet you're just anxiously waiting by the ole computer waiting on her contact. Or maybe it will be by phone. You did leave your number, right?

@Finn dAbuzz,

One might go as far to say that in reality, it is the opposition of the American people.

Most of those polled favor the public option even if they don't support the overall plan.

I agree with Bear, Obama could have more forceful in being stubborn in not letting the public option being excluded from whatever bill finally becomes passed and final. More vocally supportive when giving speeches with no words such as a "sliver" of the overall plan.

Then let's hope they will put some fire in the bellies of the Progressives in Congress who can kill the current bill.

Then when they try to resurrect it with a Public Option, the Dems who are afraid of being labelled "Socialist" in the next elections will kill it again.

It will all be good.

As far as i am concerned the democrates are a bunch of lieing bastards. They promised us a public option. I would vote republican next time even if they ran Bin Laden. I am sick to death of politicians who break all thier promises. From now on I vote against incumbents no matter how good they look.

The Democratic leadership may have promised you a public option, but certainly not all Democrats signed on to that promise.

Perhaps your local congressman or senator promised you a Public Option and then reneged.

In any case, they really are all a bunch of lying bastards and you should vote Republican, or at least anti-incumbent next time.

and republicans aren't a bunch of lying bastards? Are you kidding me?

I didn't assert that, but I still want rabel to vote Republican. They are lying bastards who generally endorse lowers taxes and less government than the lying bastard Democrats and so are greatly preferrable.

Which is precisely the way you and rabel will come back to the Democrats in the next elections. Who are either of you trying to kid?

What the dems promised, and Obama campaigned on was AFFORDABLE AND FAIR TO THE PUBLIC healthcare. Contrary to what's been shoved down people's throats by Insurance, Pharma, Republicans and a handful of Democrats most people withinsurance problems aren't asking for free... just for fair.

Affordable and fair has never required a single payer system or a "Public Option" intended to ultimately lead to one.

The Democrats bought health industry support, and the last time I looked they have a majority in both Houses and one in the Senate that is filibuster proof. That you, or anyone else, would blame the Republicans for this legislation is ridiculous.

the dems and Obama have lost my vote unless that criteria is met. The repubs hasven't had my vote since the first term of Reagan.

Sort of like how he lost your vote, during the Democratic primaries, for the general election?
