Yes, Obama is throwing his first state dinner and has invited Deepak Chopra, also known as "harmony of the spheres" and "prince of sedona" to tonight's state dinner honoring the PM of India. What's next, will Obama appoint a csar for reading tea leaves, phrenologist and sibyl?
@dyslexia,
Deepak Chopra...allowing for someone who has sylexadic, I assume you mean Cheepa Dope Paks. We should all be concerned about the price of dope nowadays. What is your point ? The man in charge of starting WWIII is not allowed to get doped with other tollapissons ?
i would have invited dweezil
@dyslexia,
Deepak Chopra, what a pretentious piece of s#@%. This Obama thing is turning into a bad business, indeed.
What is wrong with inviting an Indian person to a dinner honouring the Indian PM?
What exactly do you folks dislike about this man? Is it because he is spiritual or something else? I must admit that I do not know much about him. Please enlighten me.
When I'm president David Lee Roth will be appointed Rock Czar and Rob Halford will head up the gay rights alliance.
@Intrepid,
He's a guru to the spiritually disenfranchised, which loosely means he speaks for many; those who
want someone to tell them how to proceed in this nasty world. He's the king of the self-help genre for the froo-froo crowd, the rich and educated person's spiritualist.
I would invite Deepak Chopra to dinner. For that matter, I think I should be allowed to invite anyone I want to my house for dinner.
(( As long as he doesn't bow to Deepak, what's the problem?))
@Phoenix32890,
Obama may as well round out the evening by inviting the two stars from Slumdog Millionaire, while he's at it.
@Phoenix32890,
Beat you to it Pheonix...
(( I am a bit surprised that you are jumping on the "making fun of trite conservatives" bandwagon.))
@Bi-Polar Bear,
rob halford was on opie and anthony the other week
i have little to no interest in metal type music, but the guy was a really good interview and very entertaining
I must admit I don't get it. I fully agree with Intrepid and ebrown on this. What's the prob?

Would that be a problem? If so. Why?
@dyslexia,
He should hire a Feng Shui expert to rearrange the monuments of the National Mall.
