@Diest TKO,
My understanding was that Mary is Maryam in Hebrew (Medieval Ages written as Miryam), Mariamme (several spellings) in Aramaic and Mariah (an attempt at transliteration) in Greek. All three were used in the early Bible, strongly suggesting 3 different women were spoken about. Maryam is the Mother of Jesus, some have suggested Mariamme of Magdala (Mary Magdalene) is the wife of Jesus, which leaves the third Mariah somewhat undertermined.
