The usual translation for "forever" is
in aeternum

Semper in aeternum
or
In aeternum semper
sounds kind of redundant, though, doesn't it? Even more so than in English.

Kind of, but not completely.
"Always" has a sense of "every time" or "all the time".
"For ever" (or "forever") has a sense of "going on and on".
At least, that's how I've always looked at it.
