Victus is a noun meaning "living".
Somnium is a noun meaning "dream".

But, as a noun, victus cannot take an object.

Vivere is the infinitive of vivo. In the phrase
"Somnium vivere", somnium is its object.

vivere somnium......."living the dream"......literally, to live the dream but as a matter of translation, "living the dream" is the best translation
