Trojans eaten by dogs.
How's that for an image?
Are the Huskies for real this year?

@Cycloptichorn,
What is it about Pete Carroll that makes me root against him?
@panzade,
Same reason I root against Notre Dame and the Yankees and . . .
@panzade,
Better hope FL doesn't come up against Texas this year.
Last pretty-boy quarterback team who tried that got:

speaking of which...did you catch Sanchez yesterday?
He made a case for Tebow fitting in with some NFL team

Yeah, Tebow will do good in the NFL - he just needs to protect himself. Can't run around there like he does in college, not in the long run, he'll get creamed.

@Cycloptichorn,
you're so right...I'm starting to think Urban's on crack
Tough being a Fightin' Irish fan these days. I was in West Lafayette this weekend to see them play Purdue. I died twice and shat my pants three times before Clausen finally clinched it in the closing seconds.
But to get back to the point of this thread--it is wonderful that USC already has a loss this early in the season.

It's so wonderful... I'd love to see them get two losses and just be out of everything.

@Cycloptichorn,
there seems to be a pattern here..high rankings and expectations followed by the big stumble...Is it the coaching or the choking?

To be fair, USC has had a great history of success.
I think their problem is arrogance, personally.

You remember that whole bullshit, when ESPN was touting the Trojans as the 'greatest college football team of all time,' doing these hypothetical matchups between them and every championship team and concluding that USC would have won them all?
Then my team ******* smashed them in the face (in a close game, but still). Whoops, ESPN wasn't planning on that one. And, funny, they never had puff pieces on how TX was the greatest team of all time after that.

@Cycloptichorn,
yeah...well that was one of the greatest college games I ever saw
