having lived in the USA all my adult life, I've never had the opportunity to vote for a liberal for president. sad isn't it?

Of course, i was raised by conservative Democrats, so i don't know if that counts.

I was raised by my grandfather, he was a wobblie (a member of the Industrial Workers of the World) oddly enough he voted for Eugene V Debbs and Dwight Eisenhower.
Jeeze . . . i never knew them two boys was on the same ticket . . .
